For Gabe’s 10th birthday we had a survival day in the woods which was organised by ex soldiers.

We had to build shelters, learn how to make a fire and also how to get water from one place to another using a network of pipes held up by sticks.

It was good fun, Gabe invited a few friends and at the end of the day they brought out a load of snakes, giant bugs, lizards and a huge tortoise.

We had some unexpected snow and managed to get some sledging in – someone had built a ramp at the bottom of our school field, here’s some piccies.

The basilisk lizard took me 2 days.

Gabe did a really cool jump on his skateboard when we were in Norfolk, luckily I managed to catch it on camera:

I drew this myself. First I started with the body, then the head, then the lightsaber and last of all the letters. It took me about 5 days.
